  • RE: Login issue with Self-Assessment account and lack of support from HMRC

    My SA account is still linked to an old email address that I can no longer access. I can not login as I don’t have the password, but can’t reset the password myself as the verification code is still trying to use the old email address. I called the many helplines and was asked standard security questions, but was then asked 3 questions about SA events so far in the past I can nit answer them, and if I can’t answer them I can’t get any help. I am stuck in a loop, can’t login, can’t submit my SA, and can’t check if I owe additional tax! Why is no one able to help? Why can’t I post a copy of my drivers license or passport? Please help
