I have the dilema of receiving a tax refund into my clien account which simply says HMRC SA , In the past used to have a name or client referance. We are now only left with a follow letter from HMRC which identifies the client but in one case one was not received.
We could not find anything in regard to recent submissions which would have identified the client nor any communication from a client who would normaly be asking for it
HMRC agents advise line could not help and after contacting my bank they could only tell me it came from an HMRC bank account at Barclays 1 Churchill place LONDON the HMRC Direct Taxes branch with no particulat referance.
I am wondering if there is anyone out there who has had a similar experiance or could help me
