Hello, the text in the link is not clear. And the example just confused me more...
So I am asked to pay for 2021-2022, because my bill for 2019-2020 is lower than £1000, is that the reason?
Is that the text "your last Self Assessment tax bill was less than £1,000" in your link referring to 2019-2020? Or is it referring to 2020-2021?
I filled out everything and come to the calculation page, but it gives me a number for 2020-2021, that I understand is calculated based on all the number I put in in the form. Then there is a line for first payment for 2021-2022, and a second payment by July 2022. I don't understand this part about 2021-2022. Why would I pay for 2021-2022, where does this number come from? I would not have submitted anything about my self-assessment for 2021-2022 at the time these payment are collected. Can someone explain?
