Marriage Allowance unable to transfer on my current self assessment return
I have tried to file my self assessment online today and transfer 10% personal allowance to my spouse. The system show : Error: As you have already made three attempts to match your Recipient details, you cannot select to transfer your Marriage allowance in this return. so I submitted the apply for marriage allowance via online account separately. My question is as the transfer of 10 % allowance cannot reflected on my return now, should I still submit the self assessment at stage, because after I transferred out 1,260 allowance, I might need to pay a little bit of tax. Please advise. Thank you
