Is SED Sea-farers earning deduction claim making net income £0? No Your tax is zero, not your net imcome. So, for example, U/Credit ask you what your monthly pay is, so lets say it's £3000. Then they ask you what your take home is, which is probably about £2400 ish. That's it SED is not income. I help my seafaring collegues with this all the time.
