Hi, I’ve submitted my self assessment tax return for 20/21 and there was no bill to pay this year (I had not accrued enough interest on my savings this year). However HMRC keep sending me email reminders to submit my payment. I’m assuming this is a standard email, however I really don’t want to get fined! Please reassure me that HMRC will check my record and not automatically issue me with a fine. Thank you.
