Tax codes received for Non Taxable Death benefits reported through RTI from 06 april 2022
We are receiving tax codes daily on Non taxable Death Benefits (tax free payments) since we started reporting via RTI from April 2022. Has anyone else encountered this issue? It is taking a long time to verify each code received and we are concerned that a P2 notice has been sent to the customer when the payment is tax free. We are trying to establish what the issue is.
