Hi Thanks for the link. Every time I click the link to report my CGT, it tells me it is the link to report for a trust or estate. I am neither, I am trying to report as an individual. Do you know why it would send me down the trust/estate route rather than reporting as an individual? Thanks.

Hi, I have been trying to register the British property I sold earlier this year for capital gains tax. I have relocated abroad. However, every time I try to use the online tool ( https://www.tax.service.gov.uk/capital-gains-tax-uk-property/start ) it asks me if I am a trust or an estate. I am neither - when I say I am not, it sends me to the company CGT portal. My accountant is also confused as to why this happens. Is there another link I can use, or something I can do to make it work? Thanks in advance.
