RE: UK Tax on a Canadian RRSP
Hi Brian Lerner,
If these are just added to the fund to give you a better pension when you do withdraw it, then no, it will all be taxed at the point of withdrawal.
Thank you. -
RE: Money transfer
Hi Vinayan William,
You will not pay tax on the transfer of the capital however, you wil need to declare any interest that is generated.
You will also need to declare any interest that is generated whilst the funds were in Dubai and are in India.
Thank you.

RE: Pension contributions
Hi Littletres,
There would be no additonal benefit on this. Tax relief at 20% will have already been given on your pension payments.
The unused relief to bring forward would only apply when you exceed £40000 into a pension and as this is over your salary, no additional relief would be due.
Thank you. -
RE: Applying Digital Nomad Scheme but still PAYE employee
Hi Natasha Judge,
As you will not be in the UK for more than 183 days, you will not be considered UK tax resdient. you need to follow the steps outlined, in order, and by that, you dont get to step 3 to meet that condition.
The P85 would then allow an NT code to be issued to your UK employer and you would then declare your taxes in Spain.
Thank you. -
RE: Cash gift from parents outside UK
Hi Edgar,
There are no income tax implications on the receipt of a cash gift unless the cash gift generates interest or dividends.
These would then potentially be subject to tax.
Further guidance can be found here: Tax on savings interest and Tax on dividends.
Thank you.
