RE: Help in answering this section: Did you receive any UK pensions, annuities or state benefitsI'd also like to know the answer to this. I'm wondering whether I include it in the Any other business income section, which I am not able to enter as £0.
RE: Dual Tax ResidencyHello, thank you for your reply. I have just calculated that I was only in the UK for 171 days of the tax year 6th April 2021- 5th April 2022. Do I still need to complete a tax return?
Dual Tax ResidencyLast year I triggered tax residency in the Republic of Georgia, and so registered there as a micro business. That means that I need to declare my earnings there and pay relevant tax between Jan and March. However, I am registered as self employed in the UK. In 2021 I spent 215 days in the UK and in 2022 I will spend more than 212 here. My questions are: 1. Should I complete my self assessment? 2. If so, do I include income that I received in Georgia from work that was carried out in Georgia? 3. How can the tax treaty between the UK and Georgia work for me, so that I am not in danger of being taxed in both places? Many thanks for your help
