RE: Overseas salary tax
HI HMRC I m UK tax resident. If I had worked overseas for a month during this financial year, may I know which form / how i can report this? I cannot find a suitable category in SA 106 form. Also, for salary from overseas, I do not need to pay NI, is that right? Thanks for your clarification. -
RE: Offshore reporting and non-reporting funds
Dear Hmrc officer The guideline in very clear and self explainatory, thanks. It stated that non transparent offshore UNit trust, I have to report in page2 and 3 under "interest and other income from overseas saving" . Did it mean that the fund distributed are also entitle the 1000 pounds personal allowance ? All the best from Sam -
RE: Offshore reporting and non-reporting funds
I ask this because my 'offshore Non reporting' has monthly distribution as income to me. I would like to know if this monthly distribution classify as 'Interest' or under 'miscillaneous income'? As there is no allowance in miscillaneous. So I need to specifically clarify with you. Thanks for your patience in the explaination -

RE: Double taxation problem
thanks admin reply. In this case, when i submit foreign income in uk (SA106), then pageF4, : column B - i input the rental income recieved Columc C - i enter tax i paid in foreign country column E- i put a "X" to claim foreign rax credit relief At the time i input column C, I hv not yet paid the tax nor submit tax Ass in that country. So can i just calculate the tax based on the tax rate of that country and write it down in column C? (so it is jusy my calculation but not the final value, i fear there may have some discripency with the final amount as calculated in that country tax dept. later) So may i know if this is right to proceed ? If yes, should i attach anything to justify my calculation on the tax which i paid off in foreign country? thanks very much for clarification -

RE: Double taxation problem
Dear HMRC I had an overseas rental property and the income will subject to tax in that country also. For the double taxation credit relief, the problem is UK has different tax financial year with that country. When I submit my uk tax assessment, I has not yet submit tax assessment in that country. Can I reimburse the foreign tax credit relief after I settle my UK tax submission? If so, should I tick the box for the credit relief application during my submission (even I have not submit tax in another country and not knowing the tax amount I used to pay in that country yet)? many thanks for the clarification -
RE: Treatment of Distributions from Non-Reporting Offshore Funds

RE: Filling in SA106
Dear HMRC team , I have go through other parts of the forum and noted that cash bonus from uk bank ( which is certain % bonus after every purchase ) is not subject to tax. But for that bonus in foreign country, I have to report to u. Now it is >2000 pounds, should I put it in box 42 of SA 106? If no, for your advise please. Thanks for clarification -
RE: Filling in SA106
Hi HMRC I have overseas income >2000 pounds, part of it is < bank cash bonus > paid by a bank directly to my overseas saving account . Should I put it into " OVERSEAS interest and saving " in Tr2 or into " box 42" ? as box 42 state that I should recieved benefit from a person instead of an organization, If I were wrong, please correct me and direct me to the appropriate box. thanks very much
