Dividends from non-UK company
Hi all. I am a foreigner living in the UK. Last year I became non-domiciled tax resident in the UK. I do NOT use remittance basis of taxation. I am also a shareholder (and not an employee) of non-UK company. I periodically receive dividends from the said non-UK company. Do I correctly understand that my dividend income is taxed ONLY by UK personal income tax (taking into account relevant allowance)? National Social Contribution (or any other types of contributions or taxes other than personal income tax) do not apply to dividend income, correct? Many thanks for the help. Regards
