    I filed self assessment on time waited 28 days before contacting HMRC, spent nearly 3 hours on 3 occasions in unanswered telephone queues only to be told that my pending refund needed additional security checks - but operator could not tell me what I needed to do to satisfy process. I was told that I would be contacted within 6 weeks. I had been nearly 10 weeks now that I am awaiting refund for overpayment- what is complaint procedure and when can I expect resolution ?
