  • RE: Need to submit self assessment

I have checked no need to send a self assessment tax return in the period 14 Jan to 5 April 2022. From 6 April 2020 to 13 Jan 2021, I have interest and dividend earned in Hong Kong. But I am not sure whether I still need to apply for split-year treatment. Please advise. Thank you.
  • Need to submit self assessment

I have received bank interest and dividends from Hong Kong, less than 50 pounds from mid-Jan to 5 April 2022. 1) Is it necessary to submit self assessment? 2) if no need to submit self-assessment, whether I need to apply for split-year treatment (SA106) in this tax period (2020-2021)? Thank you.
  • RE: No SA250 (UTR no) letter

I can fill SA100, SA106 online, but there is no online submission for SA109, only paper format. In this case, Late submission is obvious. The deadline for paper submission is 31 Oct 2022. Please advise.
  • No SA250 (UTR no) letter

I registered the self assessment of return and filled the SA1 form on 2 Oct 2022. Up to now, I haven't received my UTR no. Please advise. Thank you.
  • Submission of SA100, 106 109

SA109 is only available in paper form. Is it good for me to submit the SA100 and SA106 online, and submit SA109 by post? Or 3 doucments submit by post is better? Thank you very much.
  • The Procedure of filing the online tax return

I registered the tax return online a couple of hours ago. I am now waiting for the UTR number. At this moment, I signed in my account. I can't find any online form (SA100 and SA106) in my account. How can I view and fill the online forms later? I needed to fill the SA109 for split year treatment as well. It is only available in paper form. Is it right for me to fill the online forms (SA100 and SA106) and post the SA109 to your office? Or all the forms (SA100, 106 and 109) will be sent by post? Thank you very much.
  • RE: Need to submit self assessment

Sorry, is it necessary to apply for a split-year treatment in my case? Thanks
  • About the split year treatment

I arrived in UK on 14 January 2022 and rented an apartment for 6 months. From 14 January 2022 to 5 April 2022, I got less than 10 pounds of overseas share dividend and interest. Is it necessary to apply for a split-year treatment in the self-assessment of tax return? Thank you.
  • About the period of self-assessment of return

The deadline of online tax return in this year is 31 Oct 2022. The tax year is from 6 April 2022 to 5 April 2023. If I fill the online tax return on 31 Oct 2022, I do not know how much income I will receive from 1 Nov 2022 to 5 April 2023. What should I do? Thank you.
  • Need to submit self assessment

I arrived in UK in January 2022. From 6 April 2022 to 28 Sep 2022, I have overseas income from HK - share dividend below HKD3,000 and savings interest HK0.5. I would like to know whether I need to register self-assessment of return? Thank you very much.
