  • Marriage allowance surplus

I use 123 efiling to submit returns. Theres a problem they cant seem to solve for me. I can fill in the part to transfer my surplus allowance to husband, completing his details, however their software doesnt give the boxes for my details when my husband wants to claim the surplus from me. Is my tax return alone enough to give the surplus to him with his details, or does his tax return actually have to claim to receive the surplus from me, with my details on it? thanks
  • RE: SA109

Thank you, Do I have to fill in boxes 18 to 23 as all my tax is dealt with in UK. There is no income in Germany and the tax office only require a copy of my UK tax return. I am not claiming any relief under the double taxation agreement as the only tax is paid in UK thank you for your time
