Hi,
If you have registered for DNCI that will give you a PAYE reference as you would then be classed as an employer.
Please check guidance at:
Set up as a sole trader
If this is not for you, then the SA102 P60 income will be the gross income you receive from the employer.
There will be no tax to declare as none will be deducted and the tax will then be calculated from your tax return.

RE: Gift tax for cash gift from overseas
Hi,
There are no income tax implications on the receipt of a cash gift unless the income generates interest or dividends.
These would then potentially be subject to tax, guidance can be found here:

Tax on dividends
This also applies to the transfer of your capital from overseas.
