Hi,
The amount included in your P60 should not include the £30,000 non taxable element if this applies.
You may wish to check with your employer if the payment was taxable or if it was for redundancy.
Termination payments in general tend to be taxable, but redundancy payments have the first £30,000 exempt.

You can cash in a pension while still contributing to another, your personal allowance is used against your taxable income.
If you have more than one source of taxable income, and you do not use all your personal allowance in the first source.
You can transfer the remainder to your second source.
