Withdrawing funds from a LISA account without a UK bank account
Dear Sir or Madam, I am currently a UK resident considering opening a LISA account with a LISA provider in the UK. I might leave the UK in the future, but I have heard that LISA funds can only be withdrawn from a UK bank account. Is there any possibility to have LISA funds transfered to an overseas bank account for retirement purposes later? I am afraid of starting to invest into a LISA account and then being unable to withdraw my funds if I were to be forced to close my current UK bank account due to not being a UK resident anymore. Please let me know whether you know of any solution to that situation. Kind regards,
