How to calculate income tax and how payslip for salary employees look
Using round figures, if I have an employee who missed half the month due to unpaid training, if he is salaried worker and pays income tax of 686 per month when he works every day of the month, if he has only worked half the amount of days, do I just multply the 686 by 0.5 to get the amount of income tax he owes? If not how do you do this? Also in the payslip which has units do I put it as 0.5 to represent half a month or do I put a heading that shows the number of days he worked for the month and multiply it by the daily rate? A lot of questions, thanks for any input given.
