I'm wondering if someone could please help? My wife and I are looking at moving to Saudi Arabia possibly for around 12-24 months. We have no intention of emigrating there so we will be keeping our UK home albeit empty, i.e. not renting it out throughout this period. My question is, will I pay UK tax on my Saudi Arabia income as I intend to keep the UK home and as such continue to pay the relevant bills via a UK bank account which I will transfer money into from Saudi on a monthly basis? Having read the online guidance, I cannot see a clear answer to this and the ties test has only confused me further! If anyone could please give me a definitive answer, it would be greatly received. Thank you.
