  • HMRC phone service - why do I keep getting cut off

    I have just tried to call HMRC twice to query my tax code. The information I need is not online. On both occasions I was just cut off having gone through the various automated questions. Looking on the forums this appears to be a common problem. What are HMRC doing about this. It is really frustrating. I am just trying to make sure that my tax affairs are in order.
