Thanks very much. In terms of updating my tax code when my promotion comes through, do I let Payroll know myself that the tax code needs to be changed to prevent any issues? -
Tax code two jobs higher rate
Hello, I have two jobs at the moment. My main job is £45,000 and my second job is £23,400. Currently my tax codes are 415L for my main job and BR for my second job. I am up for a promotion in my main job, to £60,000. Regarding my tax codes, should my tax code be updated to 1257L for my main job and D0 for my second job to ensure that I'm paying the higher rate of tax on both? Thank you
