RE: Gift tax for cash gift from overseas
Hi I am UK Citizen, My friend has a company in Dubai and want to gift my child £30000 for studies in UK from his company in Dubai. Can he send the money to me directly from his company in Dubai in my UK account and then i can pay the school fee and do I have to pay any tax on it in UK? or can he pay the school directly from his company in Dubai. In either case will i have to pay any tax in UK? Please advise Thank you so much
