I currently work for the civil service, and need a 2nd job to help pay the bill. I am planing on being self employed for 1 day a week. I’m aware I need to apply for a self employed status on Inland Revenue. Will this affect my main job. My second job I will be earning under £12k, but my main job I earn more that 12K.
