I have noticed that my name in my self assessment refund account has a wrong initial for my middle name, unfortunately this has also been processed onto a refund cheque recently received.
Due to this my bank will not process the cheque, I have called the number on the letter however the helpline is now closed until 4th September?
This is the first time I have had to complete a self assessment due to expenses going over the ceiling amount.
I have tried to find a re-issue cheque / update info online however I’m getting nowhere and ultimately getting quite stressed about it all.
Any help would be appreciated prior to 4th September.
