RE: HMRC not answering phones, 3rd day and cannot get through to speak on their help line
I can only conclude that you do not read the posts on this forum. People are saying they are unable to get through on the phone ........ and your reply is to phone? I think the people who are complaining about being unable to get through on the phone already know the number, but thank you for your help. -
RE: HMRC not answering phones, 3rd day and cannot get through to speak on their help line
I tried today's webinar but the only advice was to look on HMRC website for ways to contact them - ignored the fact I told them I hadn't been able to get through on the phone for weeks now. So it was absolutely useless for my purposes. Just going round in circles. Have given up as my time is better spent on working to pay my tax bill! -
RE: HMRC not answering phones, 3rd day and cannot get through to speak on their help line
Last time I posted here the reply was to phone. Been trying repeatedly for weeks now and have just tried again. Automated message said to ring back after 1st Feb when they expect to be less busy. Will try the webinar tomorrow but frankly expect to be told to ring to discuss individual cases. Will submit tax return but I'm not paying the unexplained charge until I know what it is and will add a note to that effect. I'm not prepared to rack up any more cost in phone calls no one answers. I have to say it's really disgraceful. -
RE: HMRC not answering phones, 3rd day and cannot get through to speak on their help line
I've been trying unsuccessfully for days to get through on the phone - costing me a fortune. My self-assessment asks me to confirm a PAYE underpayment but I don't know what it's for. Clearly I'm not agreeing it's correct unless I know what it is. Can anyone - anyone at all - help please?
