I am required to pay tax due under a Simple Assessment. However, when I click the link to pay online, the appropriate year and amount are not shown. How else can I pay? I have a bank code 08-32-10 listed still saved in my banks list of recipients from some years ago. Is this still valid to use?

I have had the MA allowance for the last 6 years. In all those years, my wife was a non-tax payer and I remained a basic tax payer. Now, all of a sudden I have received two tax calculations for previous years 20/21 and 21/22 which effectively is seeking to claw back the allowance. They do not explain why. Other than writing a letter and wait forever for a response, what else can I do?
