Hi, hope someone can help me. It's now 11th December 2024. Looking at my HMRC app, it shows up that the HMRC have all information required (my income, tax paid etc ... ), to work out my tax payments for 2023 -2024. Therefore, why on 11 December 2024, have i still not received my P800? How long do you have to wait ? Is anybody else in the same position? After logging on to the HMRC website, it is still showing "your tax has not yet been calculated" ? It is plainly obvious, looking at the figures, that i have paid way too much tax and am due a refund. I cannot fill in a P53 or P53Z form, as i do not work. (both forms require P45 information) Tried ringing HMRC but gave up after 2 hours on hold. Thanks.

Hi Tooroxy, i'm similarily waiting for P800 same as you. Showing "tax has not yet been calculated" on my personal tax account. Annoyingly, also on my HMRC mobile app, it shows all the details HMRC needs to calculate my refund (Income, Tax paid etc...), but still no P800. How frustating is it, when you KNOW they have all the details they need, but are seemingly delaying refunds !!!

I'm surprised by this answer by HMRC Admin, as my Annual Tax summary is available now. No sign of my refund yet though . sigh.

Having paid well over the required Tax for 2023/24,due to also taking a private pension drawdown, i am due a PAYE tax refund. I have double confirmed this, using Gov.uk tax calculation tool. HMRC have all needed amounts / figures/ information (as i can see all this info that's required, on my HMRC mobile app), but i still see the dreaded "your tax has not been calculated yet", on the online gov.uk website. I thought that the P800 "tax calculation letters" were sent out by End of NOVEMBER, at the latest !!!!
