  • Getting through by phone to HMRC

    Has anyone successfully managed a phone call regarding their self-assessment? I have tried the 0300 200 3310 many times over the last couple of months and each time I spend a few minutes going through the automated message options only to be told "we're sorry, there's no one available for you to speak to right now". I don't think there is any other way of communicating with HMRC as email isn't possible either? Would love any insight on how to get through, best times of day, alternative phone numbers etc. Many thanks Gen
