I have tried on three separate occasions to telephone HMRC and the waiting time varies between 20 and 30 minutes. I cannot afford to wait so long to speak with someone. I am frustrated that I cannot get any answer to this problem which is causing problems when trying to submit data. What do you suggest?
Letter received from HMRC instructs me to sign in using my gateway ID and password.
This I have done with no problems.
Next instruction states "Select "Activate" for PAYE
The problem is that nowhere on the screen does this appear. therefore I cannot enter the Activation code!!
I notice that I am not the only person to have had this trouble.
I have received my "Activation" code for PAYE for employers and I have signed into my Gateway Account. The letter then instructs me to "Select Activate" for PAYE for employers, but this does not show on the screen. How do I overcome this problem?
