Registering for 2021/2022
Hello HMRC, I got rental income for the first time in may 2021 so I need to register via SA01. The deadline is 5th October, does that mean that I have met the deadline by submitting the SA01 form online or does it only count as registering when I receive the UTR letter and activate self asssessment with the code online. I'm worried that delays from the post office would prevent me from receiving the letter in time and I will be fined. Many thanks
