Does the following calculation sound about right?
Good evening, I am a teacher and landlord to one property. My teaching pays approx. £42,880. My rental earnings are about £11,000. I have just (provisionally) done my self-assessment (2021-2022). Given these figures, does it seem about right that the calculation is approximately, 2021-22 payment = £2483 plus 1st payment for 2022-23 £1241 (total payment before 31st Jan 2023= £3724)
