    I arrived in UK on 3-April,2023. I have already done tax clearance in Hong Kong. There are no income from 3-April, 2023 to 5-April, 2023. During the period, I lived in a hotel. Am I required to submit the self assessment for the tax year 22/23?

    Timeline: End of March, 2023: Last day of Hong Kong employer, but I hadn't received any payroll of March 2023. I have already done tax clearance in HK. 3-April, 2023: Entered into UK End of April, 2023: I received March payroll from previous Hong Kong Employer. End of May: Start a new job in UK (UK employer - PAYE) Do I need to declare the income from HK employer that actually refers to my work on March, 2023?
