I have tried to do a bank transfer a self assessment late penalty fee (although as a non-resident I have been permitted not to pay tax and I now understand I still have to file a self assessment tax form either way) - and I just need confirmation of the bank account details for HMRC Cumbernauld and Shipley, to verify I have everything I need to get this 100 GBP sent! I have given all of it to my bank here in USA but they are still asking all kinds of questions that I don't know the answer to. I am thinking it shouldn't be this complicated. I simply want to transfer the monies from my USA bank to the HMRC bank. Please, help me? The most recent thing the US bank asked me, is what is the recipient's address v. the bank address. I see it is listed but I would feel better knowing that I have everything needed. I will go back to my bank and tell them to figure it out! Thank you so much.
