The not-for-profit organisation I run REVIVECampaign, which advocaates on behalf of victims of explosive weapons, keeps getting letters from debt collection agencies (the latest from CCSCollect) claiming we owe HMRC £430,49 and to pay this money into their account.. When I checked we owed £12.23 - which I immediately payed through HMRC's online payment system. What is HMRC doing about these scam companies?

Hi,
CCS Collect do collect outstanding debts for HMRC. In this case you will need to contact us to check what the £430.49 relates to.
