I am attempting to prove my status as an individual that is self employed delivering my services under a different name, not my personal name. I do not have a LLC, as I do not earn enough. I was under the impression that having a UTR and a submitted tax return with my name stating my business’s purpose was enough, but I am being asked for a “business registration”. Does anyone know what I can do to prove I am a sole trader trading as my business name?

Hi,

This depends on what or who requires the evidence.
