Hi HMRC I'm secretary of Trumpington Allotment and Garden Society Limited We are registered with the FCA (13184R) and we submit annual returns. We manage land and a bank account for members' rents, fees etc as an express trust. We are told by the National Allotment Society to check that our company is actually registered for corporation tax. We don't think that we actually owe any tax; it's just that we are now being told that we must be registered for it. Perhaps we already are registered - I don't know how to check. Can you advise please?
