CIS

Im looking for some part time work and the company wants me to be CIS registered as a sub contractor. I have a few questions. If i register as a sub contractor do I need a company or can I do this in a personal capacity. Would being CIS registered affect any other agency work I might take on which is PAYE through other companies.
