I have been working for a main contractor that has had a winding up order, but still owes me a significant amount in overdue CIS Vouchers. I have the invoices sent to him showing the CIS stopped. What happens at the end of the tax year? I have sent many letters threatening to report to HMRC, but I guess he doesnt care if the company is wound up

Hi eiphos27,
Working in the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) as a subcontractor you can use your invoices/bank statements to show the CIS deductions withheld if HMRC ask for the evidence if/when you apply for a repayment.
Please see this guidance here:
What you must do as a Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) subcontractor
Thank you.
