Hi, I registered a company few months ago. Soon after registering I gave up on the business idea. Didn't do any business under companies name, didn't hire anyone, didn't set up a bank account and also didn't register for tax. Today I have applied for strike off. Since I didn't register for tax, am I required to send a letter to HMRC notifying about my company's strike-off?

Hi Kaushal Tak,
You may wish to write to us with the details of your company name, Company registration number or Unique Tax payers reference (UTR)  to allow us to ensure that we do not object to your strike off application
