Hi - if you are a freelancer with a regular client and you go into their office every week for meetings and project work - does this count as business mileage? A specific scenario would be working 3 days a week for the client - one WFH and two in their office.

Hi  ,

The cost of travelling from home to place of work is generally disallowed, representing as it does
the (private) choice of where to live and that such is separate from the place of work.

Please have a look at the guidance at :

BIM37605 - Wholly and exclusively: duality of, or non-trade, purpose: travel costs: home to work   .

Thank you .
