I am looking for advice on how to account for business insurance for part of a tax year in this case insurance taken out in November 2023 so for the 2023/24 tax year. Do I have to break it down into 5 months of cost and include the rest in the 2024/25 accounts? On a similar theme I have web domain costs that span a 3 year period from July 2023. The web domains are purely advertising not sales. Again is this accounted for over multiple tax years even though the cost itself was in 2023? Thanks

Hi ,

Thank you for your query, unfortunately we are unable to advise on this.

You will need to acquire the services of a Tax professional to provide you with Tax Advice .

Thank you .

Bit of a pointless forum then really as you presume those who tax you can answer tax questions - so the taxed do not make errors.
