Hi HMRC, I am considering buying a Wimbledon Debenture via my private limited company for £100,000. The debenture will be redeemed in 2025 when my company will receive the nominal value of £2,000. I understand that for individuals the debenture is treated as a qualifying corporate bond for capital gains tax. Please can you confirm that the debenture will be dealt with under the loan relationship rules for corporation tax purposes? Thanks.
