In order to continue being listed as an accommodation provider in the UK on the platforms of well-known Online Travel Agents advertising in EU countries businesses are being asked to prove they are registered as a business entity in the UK. For us, as a partnership which operates below the VAT threshold (and so not VAT registered) the only relevant documentation that is likely to be acceptable included in the list is "HMRC: Account statement". I have spent hours online looking at how to generate one of these and have come to the conclusion that this is not a self-help item for our partnership UTR. Please advise how I can go about getting such a statement or otherwise gain proof of being a partnership registered for tax.

Hi,
Partnership tax returns do not generate statements. The only statements are those of the individual partners. The nominated partner in the partnership, would need to write us with this query: HM Reveue and Customs,
Self Assessment,
BX9 1AS
Thank you.
