I have repeatedly asked for a CT reference and subsequently an activation code. The code expires by the time it arrives in the overseas registered office. I am stuck in a cycle of non being able to complete the returns that are now overdue and it is impossible to speak to anyone and no one replies to my letters. Is there a solution? There is a UK service address registered on the Overseas companies registry but no one will send me the code..

I am having exactly the same problem as Adarglas, I have spoken to the Corporation Tax helpline on several occasions - and they have told me that they have set up the system so that the activation code should be sent to the UK service address. However activation codes keep getting sent to the overseas office address - and always received far too late. (On average the codes take 7-8 weeks to arrive at the overseas office) I then speak to the Activation code helpline - and they simply tell me that there is nothing that they can do - and that I need to speak to the Corporation Tax helpline! So I am stuck in a vicious cycle. We are trying very hard to comply with our tax obligations. However HMRC seem to be doing everything in its power to prevent us from doing so! This is very frustrating.
