Hi, I'm a bit confused and I'd hugely appreciate a quick clarification about company closure. In 2023 I registered a Ltd Company. It's never traded. Earlier this year I told HRMC that it's dormant for corporation tax purposes and have the email confirmation that's accepted. I've now submitted the from DS01 to Companies House to take it off their register. Please can I ask what I do I need to tell HRMC at this point and how do I submit this information? Thank you for your help. Huw

Hi ,

You do not have to tell HMRC, companies house will advise of the notification and once it is completed .

You just need to make sure your corporation tax affairs are up to date .

If there is anything outstanding, you will be advised .

Thank you .
