I'm trying to close down a limited company which I started last month. It never traded and I hadn't yet registered for Corporation Tax. I have filed the DS01 with companies house. Is that all that I need to do? Or do I need to tell HMRC that we don't need to register for corporation tax? Thank you

You may wish to write to us with the details of your company name, Company registration number or Unique Tax payers reference (UTR)  to allow us to ensure that we do not object to your strike off application.
