Hi, I was wondering if it is possible for an accountant to file a business CT600 for period ending 04/24 early? I need a confirmation of filing for an ILR application but my accountant is bullish on filing for some particular reason. My solicitor has said that most other accountants have never had a problem filing early. - Is there a consequence to filing a preliminary CT600 without full details? - What does early mean? When would be the "right" time to file a CT600 for period ending 04/24? Thanks

Hi ,

A CT600 can be filled any time after the end of the accounting period so long as the financial accounts are available and have been signed off as,

in order to file a valid return there needs to be attached accounts and computations.

Thank you .
