Time limit for Pool of Cost Section 104 Holding - very old employee shares

I have a large portfolio of shares acquired in a single company comprising mainly employee shares and dividends. Records of acquisition prior to 2009 are missing. HBOS was the administrator of the scheme and Computershare who took it over can't help. I have records from 2009 onwards. Will this suffice for calculating the pool of cost when I dispose of these?

No, as there could be a vast difference in pre 2009 prices. you can submit a request to HMRC.
