Hi, I'm EU national, living and working in the UK since 2020. In the current tax year I've realized a capital gain which exceeded £3000 allowance. I'm planning to move abroad next month. I am not coming back to UK in the future. I've never applied for self-assessment in the past. What forms do I need to complete and when? How do I request split-year treatment? Thanks for your help Regards

Dear HMRC Admin, I understand that I need to claim P85 form when leaving the country. But P85 form is regarding Income Tax. I still need to pay my Capital Gain Tax. Since I've never reported Self-Assessment tax return, how can I report my Capital gains? Do I report it at Real-Time Capital gain tax service or need to complete Self-assessment? Thanks
